Dolls from wool, felt and paper
Katalin Pozsony founded a small atelier in 1996 with the aim of offering socially disadvantaged women who could not pursue regular employment an opportunity to work at home. Specializing in the production of high quality cloth and felt dolls, today the Romanian tirelessly passes on her knowledge and skills. She is constantly creating new models, such as the delightful miniature flower dolls with the support of artist Lucia Biru. She herself still sews the large Waldorf dolls and takes care of the distribution on the side. Some of her felt dolls - dressed in Romanian, Hungarian or Saxon traditional costumes - can also be found in museums.
