The Easter Market Schloss Schönbrunn brings spring to Vienna on March 16 this year. Until April 2, the Parade Court at Schönbrunn will be transformed into a blossoming spring festival with lively sounds, Easter cuisine and a varied supporting programme.
Easter is coming early this year and with it the festive atmosphere of the Easter Market Schloss Schönbrunn. Around 70 exhibitors offer an impressive selection of handmade works of art, traditional Easter jewellery, culinary delicacies and much more every day from 10 am to 6 pm. The exquisite range consists of Easter decorative objects such as high-quality ceramics, spring wreaths and hand-painted Easter eggs in both traditional and contemporary interpretations. In addition, discover creative toys for children, modern stationery and elegant jewellery.
Visitors can look forward to Easter cuisine at its finest, as the Easter Market offers a tempting selection of regional specialities. From sweet treats such as Easter pastries and traditional Kaiserschmarren to savoury delicacies such as Easter ham and Ostergröstl. Fruity punch bowls and spritzers in all varieties also sweeten the start of spring - the culinary journey is a delight for all the senses. In addition to the colourful eggshell seating area in the middle of the market, the colourful giant Easter eggs and the blooming spring flowers are a real eye-catcher and ensure a spring feeling at the market.
Jazzy, Playful and Colourful
Children can once again look forward to a fun Interactive Game with Roberta Huhn. In addition, Roberta´s Playhouse, awaits young guests with a variety of games such as giant memory or four-in-a-row. The Courtyard Carousel, which consists of nostalgic pieces of furniture and is operated using muscle power, will also be back. The highlight for the little ones will be the popular Easter Bunny Quiz on Holy Saturday, where Roberta Huhn has a little surprise in store for the children.
Every weekend and on Easter Monday, the cheerful sounds of jazz and swing live concerts accompany the lively hustle and bustle of the market.
